Molly Duggan is a certified flute technician specializing in precision repair and great attention to detail. Her passion for the craft began in high school, and she has since trained with renowned technicians including Paul Rabinov, Gary Lewis, Adam Pettry, and Darren Cook. In 2019, she earned her Straubinger Certification—becoming the youngest technician to achieve this distinction—followed by Muramatsu Certification in 2021. She was Co-founder and Owner of Canter Flute Repair in Beaverton from 2019-2025.
As a performer, Molly holds a degree in Flute Performance from Portland State University, where she studied with Dr. Sydney Carlson. She served as Principal Flutist of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony (2018–2020), won the MYS Young Artist Concerto Competition on piccolo (2019), and was a finalist in the Beaverton Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition (2020). She remains an active freelance musician in Portland, performing regularly with the Beaverton Symphony, Sunnyside Symphony, and other local ensembles.
